Our forward planning

Like so many music organisations, we are responding to the present situation and shall not be promoting any ‘live’ concerts, recitals or other events until at least the autumn 2020 when Bachfest is scheduled to return (31 Oct-10 Nov). Whether we will actually be able to present our 30th Bachfest ’20 ‘live’ is very uncertain unless the lock down rules on public gatherings is lifted soon, social distancing complies and people regain their confidence that it is OK to be out and about…including travelling to and enjoying live concerts. However, we hope to promote some Bach online to replace the autumn ‘live music’ Bachfest. Watch this space!

We remain working in the office, in isolation, preparing and planning for the future including the LBS 75th in November 2021. All this is being done while maintaining our public profile through our regular editions of e-Bach Notes emailed to those on our mailing list, adding pages and posts to develop our new website as well.

We thank all our Bach Friends, donors and supporters for maintaining their support during this challenging period. We thank them for the messages received and the encouragement that accompanies them. Our ability to fulfill our charitable purpose depends on the receipt of donations from our Bach Friends and grants from private and public authorities. So if you would like to support us, please get in touch and donate via Bach Friends link below.
